Preparatory English Studies

Studying in a second language can be very difficult.

It is important that students ensure they have sufficient grasp of the English language before they commence their Higher Education studies. This will help to avoid unnecessary problems both academically and emotionally for the student.

Students wishing to enroll in either Under-Graduate or Post-Graduate courses must have achieved an IELTS Overall Band Score of 6.0 with no individual sub-score below 5.5.

Students who have not achieved these scores may choose to enroll in English studies with AMI Education prior to commencing their Higher Education course.  Upon successful completion of our English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course students are permitted to commence their higher education studies.

Below we have given a guide to help you to determine the amount of study required to help you reach the necessary level.  All students learn in different ways and at different speeds.  The information shown below is a guide only.
